Men's Infrequents

Captain: Alex Moore

Coach: Sam Mallinson

League: Higgins London League Division 3

Last season, under the captaincy of Chris Freeman, was probably the greatest in the Infrequents' history. At least in recent memory. The team didn't lose a league match between 14/11/2009 and 05/02/2011, alongside only 2 losses in the season just passed; we guaranteed ourselves top spot of Higgins London Div 4 by four points. Another notch on the victory stick of the Infrequents 10/11 season was the comprehensive 2-0 win over the Cambridge Squanderers on their home turf.

This season looks to be another successful one. The experienced players are even more experienced and the freshers are more established than Oxford is as the best University in the country. The I's are looking forward to twice as much hockey this season of even better quality: we enter BUCS for the first time to keep us fit while we hone the jazz against tougher oppositions in Higgins London Div 3.

With everything in store for the season coming, I personally cannot wait to lead the Infrequents both on and off the pitch, to invite some new faces to strengthen the team and be part of the best club in the University.
