Men's Blues
Captain: Richard Bond

Coach: John Shaw

League: Southern Premier League

The 2009/10 season is shaping up to be an exiting and successful campaign kicking off with some warm weather training and practice matches in Barcelona. With the Blues squad competing in the highly competitive Premier BUCS league on a Wednesday and the South Premier on a weekend, the aim is to build a strong and versatile squad that maximises its very high potential. Coached by the former GB captain John Shaw and with strength in depth in all departments, there is no reason why the 2009/10 season can’t be one of the most successful in the club’s history.

Preseason training starts on 19th September 2009 and prospective players are encouraged to get in touch and are welcome to attend preseason training before term starts. It’s a great way to get to know the team before the mayhem of freshers week and accommodation etc can be sorted.

Off the pitch too, the coming season promises to be an exiting affair with very regular socials which OUHC, being the largest sports club at the University, is renowned for. 2009/10 is certain to be a successful and enjoyable season.
