Men's Blues
Captain: CJ Cowan

Coach: John Shaw

League: Southern Premier League

The 2009/10 season was incredibly successful, with the Men's Blues side reaching the semi finals of the BUCS championship and securing a 3-1 Varsity win over Cambridge University. Along with a solid mid table finish in the Saturday league, these performances are indicative of the wealth of talent that Oxford University possess.

We play in the highly competitive BUCS South Premier league on a Wednesday and the South Premier on a Saturday, both of which provide an excellent challenge. We retain a number of key members of the squad going forward to next year and, with the former GB captain John Shaw as coach, the 2010/11 season is expected to be just as successful as the last.

Preseason begins on 18th September 2010 and will feature a tour to Barcelona following the success of last season's training camp. Prospective players are strongly encouraged to get in touch over the summer and to attend preseason training before the start of term. Accommodation can be arranged and it is an excellent way to meet the team and become integrated into the club before work begins.

OUHC is renowned throughout the University for its social atmosphere and regular club events; with 3 men's and 3 women's sides, next year promises to be as much fun off the pitch as on.
